Kena Shree is an award-winning writer and poet. She was a columnist for the Huffington Post and has contributed several articles to The Times of India, Cox & Kings, and Hindustan Times, while her personal blog has garnered over 200,000 views. After winning The Times of India’s ‘Write India’ short story campaign, her stories were published in an anthology by TOI Books. She has co-authored the books Twilight’s Children, A Jar Full of Memories, and 20 Authors, 20 Stories. Her debut novel and poetry anthologies are currently works in progress.
Kena Shree’s passion for writing blossomed in childhood, but her official journey began in 2012 with the launch of her blog. Her engaging write-ups quickly gained attention, leading her to become a columnist for Huffington Post. Since then, she has contributed columns and articles to esteemed publications such as The Times of India, Hindustan Times, Cox & Kings Travel, and Women’s Web, among others.
Kena’s talent was recognized when she won The Times of India Write India short story campaigns in both Season 1 (jury: Ashwin Sanghi) and Season 3 (jury: Gulzar). Her winning stories were later published in an anthology by TOI Books. She has also co-authored short stories featured in collections like Twilight’s Children, A Jar Full of Memories, and 20 Authors, 20 Stories.
Currently, Kena is diligently working on her debut novel and a series of poetry anthologies.
